Senior Vice President, Aviation Practice Leader

In this role, you will author and guide Parsons’ Aviation growth and investment strategy for North America and Asia.   In coordination with our Business Development team, you will evaluate pursuits, set winning strategies and in some cases lead high-profile pursuits.  Working with our Regional operations teams you will assist in driving project delivery excellence, customer satisfaction and staffing. 

 

As we continue to grow our Aviation practice, this opportunity could evolve into leading an Aviation P&L group.

 
 
The Need

The Senior Vice President/Aviation Practice Lead will be experienced in complex business negotiations, in the development of strategy and have the ability to recognize and act upon opportunities to promote Parsons’ expertise and successful past performance. Relationships with a diverse set of airport owners/operator and airline clients is expected.  Responsibilities will include client interface and oversight of major proposal activities.  Travel will be required to cultivate new and ongoing business development endeavors and to meet with internal and external stakeholders.  This position will regularly interface with upper-level management and client personnel, including executive/C-Suite relationships. Work location is negotiable.


The Requirements
  • A minimum of 15 -20 years of business development that includes program and construction management, capital project execution (engineering, procurement and construction) and delivery of comprehensive aviation solutions. 
  • 4-year degree in related field, (an advanced degree with recent executive development preferred)
  • A track record of meeting objectives, negotiating contracts and developing opportunities.
  • Existing cordial business relationships with a wide spectrum of aviation clients.
